11.4 Remove the nut (9.1), the bearing (9.2) and the washer (9.3) from the shaft of the pan base

drag disc (3.1)) out of the centre housing (1.2). Ensure two springs (7.2) and two drag adjustment
shoes (7.1) are retained.
NOTE: The adjustable drag disc (3.1) contains 5 grams of Optalus A0 140 drag fluid. If required,
separate the components of the adjustable drag disc and clean.
11.6 Pull off the pan bearing sleeve (1.4). Examine the sleeve for wear and replace if necessary.

12 During assembly, lubricate components as follows:
12.1 Shell Darina R2 (yellow) grease
12.1.1 The threaded part of the shaft of the pan base spares assembly
12.1.2 The smaller thread of the tilt equalizer stud
12.1.3 The pivot of the slide plate clamp arm
12.2 AGIP PV (NLGI 2) (white) grease
12.2.1 The pan bearing
12.3 Kluberlub BE41-501 (black) grease
12.3.1 The larger thread of the tilt equalizer stud
12.3.2 The threads of the pan drag adjuster sleeve
12.3.3 The thread of the slide plate lock insert
12.4 PTFE dry lubricant
12.4.1 The pan shaft ball bearing
Pan drag mechanism
13 Install the pan drag mechanism as follows
13.1 If necessary, separate the components of the adjustable drag disc (3.1) and apply 5 grams of
Optalus A0 140 drag fluid.
13.2 Install the pan bearing sleeve (1.4) on the centre housing (1.2).
13.3 Install the pan bearing (2) on the pan base (3.2).
