The manufacturer recommends the use of Diisopropylamine (DIPA) 99% for the conditioning
solution. As an alternative, use ammonia (more than 28%) if the specification limitations of this amine
are understood.

• Personal protective equipment (refer to MSDS/SDS)
• Diisopropylamine (DIPA) 99%, 1 L bottle
• Bottle adapter for Merck or Orion DIPA bottles if applicable
Install a DIPA bottle as follows:
1. Put on the personal protective equipment identified in the safety data sheet (MSDS/SDS).
2. Turn the latch on the analytic panel to the unlock position. Open the analytics panel.
3. Install the DIPA bottle. For analyzers with an enclosure, refer to the illustrated steps in

4. For analyzers with the optional cationic pump, remove the short tube from the cap. Put the outlet
