Brake Pedal
Use the brake pedal to stop or slow the sprayer
(Figure
8).
CAUTION
If you operate the sprayer with poorly adjusted
or worn brakes, you could lose control of the
sprayer, resulting in serious injury or death
to you or bystanders.
Always check the brakes before operating the
sprayer and keep them properly adjusted and
repaired.
Parking Brake
The parking brake is a pedal to the left of the brake
(Figure
8). Engage the parking brake whenever you
plan on leaving the seat to prevent the sprayer from
accidently moving. To engage the parking brake,
press the brake pedal and, while holding the brake,
press the parking-brake pedal. To disengage, press
and release the brake pedal. If the sprayer is parked
on a steep grade, apply the parking brake and place
blocks on the downhill side of the wheels.
Ignition Switch
The ignition switch

Speed-Lock Switch
The speed-lock switch locks the position of the traction
pedal at the time that the switch is set
ensures that the sprayer travels at a constant speed
while you are driving the machine on level ground.

Throttle Lever
The throttle lever, located on the control panel
