Introduction

The following sections provide instructions for installing the hardware modules into
the ITA-5231 system.
3.2

mSATA Installation

ITA-5231 features one mSATA slot on the main board and three mini-PCIe slots on
the carrier board.

1. Open the top cover of the device.
2. Loosen the screws to remove the dual-SSD bracket. Remove the carriage
bracket for the easy-swap module.
3. Insert the mSATA or mini-PCIe module.
4. Affix the module in place using two screws.
