4. REPAIR

4-1 Action in the Event of Abnormality (All Clear)

In the event of extreme noise or shock, etc., in very rare cases, the display may go out, and all the
buttons become inoperable. In that case, perform an All Clear. This operation returns all values
and settings to their default settings. The waste ink counter and printer backup data are not cleared
in this operation. Save the needed backup data before the initialization.
1. Turn hard-power-on. (power off)
2. Press and hold [ Stop] key.
3. Press and hold [ON/OFF] key.
4. [ON/OFF] LED turns ON (Beep sounds)
5. Release [ Stop] key.
6. Press [ Stop] key twice. (Releasing [ Stop] key)
7. Release [ON/OFF] key.
Execute all clear in the MFP service mode in the following procedure.

Press [ON/OFF] key after selecting the function. Execute the function.
8. Press [ON/OFF] key. Turn the power supply OFF.
9. Press and hold [ Stop] key.
10. Press and hold [ON/OFF] key.
11. [ON/OFF] LED turns ON (Beep sounds)
12. Release [ Stop] key.
13. Release [ Stop] key three times. (Releasing [ Stop] key)
14. Release [ON/OFF] key.
Stop] key three times. Select & "EEPROM initialization".
