The available boiler operating modes are "Off", "Summer operation" and "Auto".
In "Off" mode, the only heat requests considered are emergency requests (e.g. "Frost
prot request 2-position" at the heat request input).
During "Summer operation", the only heat requests accepted are those from DHW
heating (digital input or via KNX bus).
All other heat requests are ignored. Emergency requests are always accepted. The
"Summer operation" state is also distributed via the KNX bus. For example, the
RMH760B heating controller can switch DHW heating from the boiler to the electric
immersion heater.
In "Auto" mode, the boiler sequence manager activates the "Summer operation" state
automatically. The change to "Summer operation" takes place at midnight if – before –
the boiler sequence manager did not receive any heat requests from the heating cir-
cuits for 72 hours. A heat request from DHW heating is considered however.

With the binary boiler sequence release input, it is possible to change over between the
current boiler sequence operating mode and "Off".
The digital input has priority over boiler sequence operating mode selection on the
operator unit and the summer operation input.
The input's operating action can be parameterized.

"Normal position = Open" means that when the contact is open, the boiler sequence is not
released, or that boiler sequence operating mode "Off" applies to the boiler sequence.

quence operating mode "Auto" and "Summer operation".
