Take out the tire under the car

body and lower the jack until the
tire touches the ground.
Using
the
wheel
tighten the wheel nut in two or

three times in the order shown in
the following figure.
Tightening torque: 85 N · m
 The force applied to the tip of
the handle of the wheel nut
wrench should be 330 N (34 kgf)
as a guide.
 Make sure that all wheel nuts
are securely tightened.
Warning
 If the wheel nut is not tightened
securely, it may cause unexpected
accidents, such as damaging the bolt
and brake parts or disengaging the
wheel. If you change tires without
using torque wrench (commercially
available), If you replace the tire
without using it, please check the
tightening torque at the Suzuki
service factory as soon as possible. 
If you step on a wheel nut wrench
with a foot, or add a pipe or a bar and
tighten it, over tightening the nut
may damage the bolt and result in
accident.

Advice
When
tightening
with
tightening torque, we recommend using
torque wrench (commercially available).
Attach a full wheel cap (equipped

with type).
Align the notched part of the cap
with the tire's air inlet (6) and
push it in firmly.

After replacing the tire

 Place the tool and jack in the
specified position.
 After changing the tires and
running for a while, please check the
wheel nut for looseness.
 After checking the wheel with the
aluminum wheel, check the wheel nut
for looseness after traveling about
1,000 km after replacing the tire.
Warning
If you feel abnormality such as vibration
of the car body after exchanging the tire,
immediately stop at a safe place and
contact Suzuki store or Suzuki agent.
