■ Lead battery

Inspect the level of the lead battery
If the liquid level is below the lower
limit (2), replenish the battery
replenisher to the upper limit (1).
Lack of battery fluid may shorten the
life of the battery.
→ Maintenance note (daily

 If battery fluid runs short, there is a
danger of explosion due to overheating.
 Tighten securely when
disconnecting the battery terminal and
reconnecting it. Looseness may cause
fire or malfunction.

Note
Since the car equipped with the
idling stop system uses a high-
performance dedicated
battery, please observe
following. Failure to observe this
may cause the idling stop system
to not operate properly or shorten
battery life.
 When replacing the battery, use
the specified battery (do not use
unspecified one)
