When overheating

I will park the car in a safe place.

With the engine on, open the hood

and improve the ventilation inside
the engine room.
 When steam is rising from the
engine room, please do the
following procedure without
opening the hood.
→ page 5-3 (bonnet)
Warning
When steam rises from the engine
room, please do not open the hood.
Steam or boiling water blew out,
there is a danger of burns.
Confirm the operation of the cooling

fan, wait until the water temperature
warning light turns off, and stop the
engine.
If the cooling fan is not operating or
the water temperature warning light
does not turn off, immediately stop
the engine and contact the Suzuki
dealer or the Suzuki agent.
After
the
engine

sufficiently, check the amount of
cooling water and water leakage
from the hose etc.
In case of emergency / overheating
Please remove the radiator cap after
the engine has cooled sufficiently.
When the engine is hot, pressure is
applied to the cooling water, so steam
or hot water blows out and there is a
risk of burns.
Replenish when the amount of

cooling water is insufficient.

Warning
If there is a problem such as
water leak, please contact Suzuki
store or Suzuki agent.
If there is no cooling water and
it is only necessary to replenish
only water, please check or
replace the cooling water at the
Suzuki service factory as soon as
possible.
