To enter program mode, close program switch.

Press "Perm Press" key. Display will read
"PL01," program location 01. Press "Perm Press"
key. Display will read temperature conversion
status, either Fahrenheit or Celsius. If no change,
press "Perm Press" key. Should a change be
necessary, press "HI" or "LO" key and then press
"Perm Press" key.
