Industrial Wireless LAN is used for the wireless communication with the vehicles. In the
production plant, several SCALANCE W774-1 access points
IWLAN RF field. iPCF can be used with these devices. This minimizes the handover times
when the vehicle moves from one wireless cell to another.

To allow this, each vehicle is equipped with a SCALANCE W734-1 client module. The
control information received via wireless is forwarded via the Ethernet interface of the W734-
1 client to a SIMATIC S7-1200 controller
