4 Tighten the securing screw with a 5 mm
hexagon socket spanner to 5–6 Nm.
 The lever is mounted.

Screw-on axle (20 mm)

Only applies to Suntour forks with 20 mm screw-on axle
1 Insert the axle completely on the drive side.

2 Tighten the securing clip with a 4 mm hexagon
socket spanner to 7 Nm.

Quick release axle

Only applies to Suntour forks with screw-on axle
CAUTION

Crash caused by loose quick release axle
A faulty or incorrectly installed quick release axle
may become caught in the brake disc and block
the wheel. This will cause a crash.
 Never fit a defective quick release axle.
Crash caused by faulty or incorrectly
installed quick release axle
The brake disc becomes very hot during
operation. Parts of the quick release axle may
become damaged as a result. The quick release
axle becomes loose. This will cause a crash with
injuries.
 The quick release axle and the brake disc
must be opposite one another.
Crash caused by incorrectly set quick release
axle
Insufficient clamping force will result in
unfavourable transmission of force. The
suspension fork or the quick release axle may
break. This will cause a crash with injuries.
 Never fasten a quick release axle with a tool,
such as a hammer or pliers.
1 Insert the axle into the hub on the drive side.
