Verify that batteries are installed in the IR-30 Remote
Transmitter. Note that the buttons on the IR remote are in two
groups.
• The four buttons across the top have the same names and
functions as the four colored buttons on the System 8/10

front panel.

• The second group includes numbered buttons, as well as
"Enter" and "Function" buttons. The numbered buttons
are used to enter values, such as channel numbers. The
"Enter" button is used to "send" the number to the
switcher. The "Function" button is reserved for future use.

Check the IR-30 Remote operation as follows:
a. Point the transmitter (remote control) in the direction of the left front of the

b. To select an input channel, press the button(s) for the channel number followed
