Replacement routines
Ê Connect the cables of the accessible drives.
Ê Close the server and connect all power plugs (for a detailed description see
the Options Guide).

Replacing the fan backplane
Ê Open the server as described in the
Ê Remove all the cables from the fan backplane.

Ê Loosen the knurled screw (see figure) from the fan backplane, then move the
backplane to the direction of the arrow until its holes disengage from the
housing stand-offs.
Lift the fan backplane, then set it aside.
Ê Install the new fan backplane, match its holes with the housing stand-offs
then move it to the opposite direction to lock.
Ê Connect all cables to the fan backplane (see
