When the model is secured, the pivot points (e.g.,
knee pivot points according to Nietert) can be traced
easily. During the AP measurement, the calliper can
rest on the holding fork.
After the adjustment of the heel height and the foot
position, the frontal and sagittal alignment are perfor-
med with the help of the 743L30=* LaserLine device.
If the pivot points are to be marked with round steel,
the spindle attachments are replaced with the rod
attachments (see sec. 5, note on (14)), and the plaster
model is aligned in the holding forks.
