1) Align the power supply (C) with the bay and slide the power supply into the system until the
latch (B) locks in place.
2) Connect the power cord (A) to the power supply (C).
3) Use the hook-and-loop fastener (D) and tie the power cord to the power supply handle.
d) Using your labels, replace the cables that connected to the system.
15. When the service processor comes up to the standby state (the power-on LED on the control panel is
flashing slowly), continue to the next step.
16. Turn off the identify LED. For instructions, see Deactivating an identify LED (www.ibm.com/support/
