b) Reroute the front USB cable along the top right side of the system and secure it to the hook and
loop fasteners on the side of the system.
c) Plug the other end of the rear USB cable (C) into the connector on the system backplane as shown
in the following figure. The connector on the system backplane that has the USB port symbol with
an arrow that points to the rear of the system.
21. Replace the PCIe adapters.
a) Refer to your notes to identify the location where you want to install the PCIe adapter.
b) If the adapter latch (B) at the target slot on the system is not already in the open position, pull the
latch into the open position by rotating the latch outwards from its clip on the back of the
system.Figure 106 on page 107 and Figure 107 on page 108.
c) Press the adapter firmly into its connector ensuring that it is seated.Figure 106 on page 107 and
Figure 107 on page 108.
d) To lock the adapter in its slot, rotate the adapter latch (B) in the direction that is shown.Figure 106
on page 107 and Figure 107 on page 108.
