MAGIC CONTROL
✓ The controller remembers the previously installed sensor.
✓ The controller quits tyre sensor programming mode.
✓ The system is in operating mode.
9.3
Saving the cold air pressure of the tyres
This is how to save the pressure values for the tyres:
➤ Pump up all tyres to the pressure stated by the manufacturer.
➤ Press and hold down the display button.
➤ Switch the ignition on.
➤ Hold down the display button and let go of it when the controller has
emitted two high-pitched beeps (after around 3 s seconds).
✓ The system reads the pressure of each tyre to determine the target
values.
– Set front pressure: average pressure of the two front tyres
– Set rear pressure: average pressure of the two rear tyres (or four,
if you have programmed two additional sensors)
During calibration, the LED continually changes colours:
0.25 s green, 0.25 s orange, 0.25 s red, 0.25 s orange etc.
✓ The controller beeps within 2 minutes to confirm that all sensors have
been queried.
Because the sensors send their information every 54.6 seconds,
the controller normally receives the values of the four or six sensors
within a minute.
✓ The controller quits pressure calibration mode.
✓ The system is in operating mode.
