7.3 Installing the controller
➤ Select a suitable installation location (m, page 9).
When selecting the installation location, observe the following
instructions:
Do not fit the controller directly beside other controllers, as otherwise they
may interfere with each other.
Make sure the controller and cable set are well away from moving vehicle
components such as the steering column, clutch, brake and accelerator
pedal, in order to prevent the controller or the cable set from being
crushed or worn.
If installing the controller behind panels, make sure you can fit the panels
again afterwards.
Where possible use existing holes in the vehicle.
➤ Screw the controller securely to the vehicle with the screws supplied or
use the double-sided adhesive tape supplied.
Take care not to damage any other parts of the vehicle when tightening
the screws.
