Using MAGIC CONTROL

Before you can use MAGIC CONTROL, you must:
Program the tyre sensors, so that MAGIC CONTROL can process
their signals
Calibrate the pressure values, so that MAGIC CONTROL can use the
cold air pressure for your vehicle as a reference value

Performing an interference diagnosis
Because the signals from the tyre sensors can suffer interference from other
signals, you must carry out an interference diagnosis before using MAGIC
CONTROL. You may have to fit the controller at a more favourable location
or use the 4 m antenna.
➤ Press and hold down the display button.
➤ Switch the ignition on.
➤ Let go of the display button when the controller has emitted three high-
pitched beeps (after around 12 seconds).
✓ The LED briefly lights up red and then shows the status of the received
signals:
LED colour
Off
Green
Orange
Red
➤ Press the display button to return to operating mode.
Meaning
The system is operating with no problems. All signals
are received.
There is slight interference but the signals are received.
Move the controller to a more favourable location for
reception or use the 4 m antenna.
There is medium interference.
Move the controller to a more favourable location for
reception or use the 4 m antenna.
There is strong interference.
Move the controller to a more favourable location for
reception or use the 4 m antenna.
