• COMPONENTS - SAFETY AND DETECTION DEVICES
Smoke thermocouple
on the smoke outlet. It reads the smoke temperature. It regula-
tes the ignition stage and shuts the boiler-fi replace down if the
temperature is too high or too low.
Pressure switch
Positioned in the fume-aspiration area, it is triggered in the case
of a depression in the fumes circuit (e.g. obstructed fl ue) and
interrupts the movement of the pellets. It blocks pellet loading
causing the stove to go out.
Feed Screw safety thermostat
Placed near the pellet hopper. It disconnects the electrical sup-
ply to the gear motor if the temperature detected is too high.
Water temperature detector
It reads the water temperature in the boiler and sends the circuit
board information for pump management and boiler power
modulation.
If the temperature is too high, it starts a shutdown.
Water overheating safety thermostat
detects the water temperature in the thermo-stoves. If this is
too high, it triggers the shutdown process by disconnecting the
electrical supply to the gear motor.
In the event that the thermostat is switched on, it must be
re-activated by acting on the reset button behind the stove (A
- fi g. 1).
Overpressure valve 3 bar
Upon reaching the pressure stipulated on the plate, the system
is triggered to discharge the water and consequently the water
must be topped up.
WARNING!!!! remember to carry out the connection with
the sewage system.
Electric coil
It sets off of the combustion of the pellets and it remains lit
until the fl ame has been ignited. This component is subject to
wear.
Smoke extractor
"Pushes" the smoke into the fl ue and draws out combustion air
via a vacuum.
N.B.:
IF THE BOILER-STOVE BLOCKS, THE REASON WILL APPEAR ON THE DISPLAY AND THIS WILL BE SAVED.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Circulator
"Pushes" water toward the heating system.
Closed expansion tank
"absorbs" the variations in the volume of water contained insi-
de the boiler-stove due to the heating effect.
Aheating technician must evaluate the need to add a second
tank to the existing one, depending on total amount of wa-
ter in the system.
Gear motor
This activates the screw allowing the transport of the pellets
from the hopper to the chamber.
Manometer
positioned on the back of the thermo stove (B - Fig. 1), it de-
tects water pressure.
When the thermo stove is running, the recommended pressure
is 1,5 bar.
Drain tap
Positioned on the back of the thermo stove, low down. It must
be opened if the water the unit contains needs to be drained.
Venting valve (V)
Located in the upper part under the top grill (see V fi g. 2 - pag.
39-42), it allows for any air present during the loading of the
water into the stove to be bled off.
