When feeding non-standard size sheets on either the
short or long edge:
Load the sheets into the bins.
• Load the sheets into the bins in the position shown in
the illustration to the left.
• If the long edge of the sheet is 420 mm (16.5") or more,
pull out the bin support.
Set the receiving tray.
• Offset Receiving
(1) Position the backstop. Set the front guides 50 mm (2")
away from the edge of the stack.
(2) If the backstop and front guides do not support the
stack, use the support stopper.
• Straight Receiving
(1) Position the backstop and the front guides against the
edges of the sheet as it sits on the receiving tray.
(2) If the backstop and front guides do not support the
stack, use the support stopper.
Set the receiving mode.
• Select the receiving mode (straight or offset) on the Ini-
tial screen.
Start the collating operation.
Important
• If the sheets are not stacked correctly because of
static electricity, reset the backstop 10 to 20 mm (0.4
to 0.8") away from the edge of the stack.
