How to Load and Stack Folded Sheets
This section explains how to load folded sheets into the bins.

Load the folded sheets into the bins.
• Crease the folded edges completely.
• Load single-folded sheets so that the folded edges are
against the feed rollers.
Important
• Use sheets which have a weight of 81.4 gsm or less.
• Be sure to crease the sheets firmly along the folded
edges to prevent feed errors.
When loading short-folded sheets:
Load the sheets into the bins as shown in the illustra-
tion to the left.
• Load all sheets right side up, then turn over the collated
sets on the receiving tray.
Important
• Use sheets which have a weight of 81.4 gsm or less.
• Only sheets which are wider than 182 mm (7.2") can
be collated.
Set the receiving tray.
Folded Sheet Size: A4 (long-edge feed)
• Offset Receiving
(1) Position the backstop and the front guides. Use the
marks for the A3 sheet size on the receiving tray.
(2) Position the support stopper to support the back of
the stack as shown.
• Straight Receiving
(1) First, position the backstop and the front guides against
the edges of the sheet as it sits on the receiving tray.
(2) Position the support stopper to support the back of
the stack as shown.
Folded Sheet Size: 8.5" x 11" (long-edge feed)
• Offset Receiving
(1) Set the front guides to the 11" positions.
(2) Position the support stopper in the middle of the
stack.
• Straight Receiving
(1) Set the front guide to match the sheet size.
(2) Position the support stopper to support the back of
the stack as shown.
