COLLEGAMENTI FRIGORIFERI
Per la preparazione dei tubi in rame, nel caso non si utiliz-
zino le linee LG, procedere come segue:
- tagliare i tubi di rame a misura con il tagliatubi;
- lisciare le estremità con uno svasatubi;
- isolare i tubi ed infilare i dadi conici prima di svasare;
- per la svasatura utilizzare un flangiatubi conico;
- verificare che la superficie conica sia in asse con il tubo,
liscia, priva di fratture e con spessore uniforme.
Per l'esecuzione dei collegamenti frigoriferi procedere
come segue:
- far passare le linee, il tubo di scarico condensa ed i cavi
elettrici attraverso il foro praticato nella parete, facendo
coincidere le estremità delle linee con gli attacchi delle
unità (le linee LG sono già tappate alle estremità, se, inve-
ce, le linee vengono eseguite in cantiere, prima di passar-
le attraverso il foro, tapparle con del nastro per evitare
l'ingresso di sporcizia);
- eseguire il collegamento delle linee frigorifere in corri-
spondenza dell'unità interna;
- prima di effettuare l'unione delle linee con l'unità, assicu-
rarsi che la posizione sia quella definitiva e quindi esegui-
re il serraggio avendo cura di pulire le superfici dei giunti
in modo da garantire il perfetto contatto delle superfici di
serraggio;
- sagomare le linee frigorifere fino a portarle in corrispon-
denza dei raccordi sull'unità esterna (si raccomanda di
non realizzare le curve delle linee frigorifere con un rag-
gio inferiore ai 100 mm al fine di non schiacciare la
sezione dei tubi);
- porre in opera il tubo di scarico condensa (vedi il para-
grafo "Scarico condensa");
- togliere le protezioni dalle estremità delle linee frigorifere
e stringere i raccordi sull'unità esterna usando chiave e
controchiave per evitare torsioni sulla carpenteria della
macchina;
- collegare la pompa a vuoto sulle prese a spillo (A) dei
raccordi delle linee del gas;
- non aprire i rubinetti (il vuoto va fatto sulle linee e
sull'unità interna);
- effettuare il vuoto fino a raggiungere i 100 - 120 mmHg;
- una volta eseguita questa serie di operazioni ed aver,
definitivamente, scollegato la pompa a vuoto, aprire com-
pletamente i rubinetti agendo sui dadi (B) con una chiave
maschio esagonale da 4 mm;
- rimettere i cappucci (C) e stringerli;
- effettuare lo scarico condensa;
- dopo aver verificato che tutto sia in regola e le posizioni
delle linee siano quelle definitive, fissare insieme i cavi e
le linee frigorifere ed ancorarle con delle fascette.

REFRIGERANT CONNECTIONS

If copper pipes are used in favour of LG lines, prepare the
piping as follows:
- cut the copper piping to size using a pipe cutter;
- smooth the two ends using a pipe reamer;
- insulate the pipes and fit conical nuts before flaring;
- use a conical pipe flange for flaring;
- make sure the conical section is axially aligned with the
pipe, and that it is smooth, fracture-free and of uniform
thickness.
For refrigerator connections, proceed as follows:
- Feed the lines, condensate drain pipe and electrical
cables through the hole in the wall and align the ends of
the lines with the unit fittings (LG lines are already plug-
ged at each end. If, however, the lines are prepared on
site, seal them with tape before feeding them through the
hole to prevent the infiltration of dirt);
- Connect the refrigerator lines to the indoor unit;
- before connecting the lines to the indoor unit, make sure
that they are correctly positioned and lock, taking care to
clean the fittings to guarantee perfect contact between
locking surfaces;
- bend the refrigerator lines in order to align them with the
outdoor unit fittings (do not bend refrigerator lines by a
radius of less than 100 mm to avoid crushing the pipe sec-
tion);
- install the condensate drain pipe (see "Condensate drain"
section);
- remove the covers from the ends of the refrigerator lines
and tighten the fittings on the outdoor unit using two
wrenches to avoid warping the unit structure;
- Connect the vacuum pump to connectors (A) on the gas
line fittings;
- do not open the valves (the vacuum must be generated in
the refrigerator lines and indoor unit);
- generate vacuum conditions of up to 100 to 120 mmHg;
- On completion of the above operations and having finally
disconnected the vacuum pump, fully open the valves by
turning nuts (B) using a 4 mm male hex wrench;
- refit covers (C) and tighten;
- make the condensate drain connection;
- Carry out a final check, making sure that the lines are cor-
rectly positioned. Fix the refrigerator lines and electrical
cables together and anchor with fixing straps.
