To set the machine in motion, simply depress the accelerator pedal (2); the machine speed is controlled
by varying the pressure on the pedal.
The machine has three preset speed levels, to select them simply operate the switch (3) on the instrument
panel; the forward speed during operation depends on the amount of dirt to be removed and the type of
floor to be cleaned.
ATTENTION! The reverse speed is lower than the forward speed to
comply with current health and safety standards.

19. MOVEMENT OF THE BRUSH HEAD UNIT

This machine is able to move the brush head unit towards the right-hand side of the machine; simply
move the knob (1) on the instrument panel to the right, to move the brush head back move the knob (1) to
the left.

20. INCREASING THE PRESSURE ON THE BRUSH HEAD UNIT

This machine can increase the pressure on the brushes via the knob (1) located on the instrument panel;
it has three different settings:
Step01: the weight exerted on the floor is 133 kg.
Step02: the weight exerted on the floor is 150 kg.
Step03: the weight exerted on the floor is 168 kg.
ATTENTION! The pressure must be chosen according to the type of floor
and the amount of dirt. Increasing the pressure results in greater wear and
tear on the brushes and higher power consumption (for further
information, read "CHOOSING AND USING THE BRUSHES")
