8348GTX module

The 8348GTX module provides 48 autonegotiating (10BASE-T, or 1000BASE-T) ports.
The following figure shows the 8348GTX module.

The 8348GTX module supports standards-based 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s and 1000 Mbit/s full-
duplex operation only.

Meaning
A transmit fault exists (FEFI).
Normal–no faults detected.
The port is connected, but no traffic exists.
Data is passing through the port.
The port has either no link or no optical
signal.
The port is not enabled.
The module completed hardware and
software initialization, and is operating
normally.
The module is booting and initializing the
hardware. If the condition persists, the
steady amber light indicates that the module
failed the initialization self-test.
The switch power is off.
This condition can also indicate that the
switch does not have sufficient power for the
module (for example, a card fault exists, or
the card is not fully plugged in).
