    Ethernet Routing Switch 8300 series chassis This section describes the Ethernet Routing Switch 8300 series chassis DC power supplies. The 8306 and 8310 chassis each have three power supply bays in which you can install either the 8005DC or the 8005DI DC power supply.

    Prepare the cables for installation of the power supply of the Ethernet Routing Switch 8300. Avaya does not supply the cables for connecting the DC power supply to the DC input power source. Select cables that comply with the electrical code of the country where you use the DC power supply.

Remove the filler panel from the power bay if necessary. Caution: Save the power filler panel in case you need to operate the Ethernet Routing Switch 8300 chassis with a power supply removed.
