Funktionsprüfung:
• Funktionskontrolle nach Gebrauchsanweisung
durchführen (siehe Kapitel 7.3.12 der
Gebrauchsanweisung zur IMAGE1 S™ CCU
Nr. 96206286 D).
• Die sicherheitstechnische Kontrolle ist
in das Gerätebuch einzutragen und die
Kontrollergebnisse sind zu dokumentieren.
• Ist das Gerät nicht funktions- und/oder
betriebssicher, muss es instandgesetzt werden.

Instandsetzung

Die Instandsetzung von defekten Geräten darf nur
durch KARL STORZ oder durch von KARL STORZ
autorisierte Personen und unter Verwendung von
KARL STORZ Originalteilen erfolgen.
VORSICHT: Das Instrument oder

das Objektiv nicht öffnen. Das Öffnen
der versiegelten Einheiten kann die
Dichtigkeit beeinträchtigen und macht alle
Garantien nichtig. Die Abdeckungen am
Kameraprozessor dürfen nur von befugten
Personen entfernt werden.
9. 3 Entsorgung
Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der europäischen
Richtlinie über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte
(waste electrical and electronic equipment –
WEEE) gekennzeichnet.
Nach Ablauf der Lebensdauer ist das Gerät als
Elektronikschrott zu entsorgen.
Hierzu erfragen Sie bitte die für Sie zuständige
Sammelstelle bei KARL STORZ GmbH & Co.
KG, einer KARL STORZ Niederlassung oder
Ihrem Fachhändler. Im Geltungsbereich der
Richtlinie ist KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG für
die ordnungsgemäße Entsorgung des Gerätes
verantwortlich.
Maintenance
Test for proper functioning:
• A functional check must be carried out in
accordance with the instruction manual (see
Chapter 7.3.12 of the IMAGE1 S™ CCU
instruction manual no. 96206286 D).
• The safety check must be entered in the unit
log-book and the results of the check must be
documented.
• If the device does not function reliably and/or
safely, it must be repaired.
9. 2 Servicing and repair
Defective items of equipment must be serviced
and repaired exclusively by KARL STORZ or by
persons authorized by KARL STORZ; all repair
work must employ original KARL STORZ parts
only.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to open the

camera head or lens. Opening these
sealed assemblies affects the camera's
soakability and voids all warranties. Do
not remove the covers on the camera
processor. Warranty is voided unless
removed by authorized personnel.
9. 3 Disposal
This unit has been marked in accordance with
the European Directive on waste electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE).
At the end of its useful operating life, dispose of
the unit as electronic scrap.
Please ask either KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG,
a KARL STORZ subsidiary or your specialist dealer
for information on your local collection point.
Within the scope of application of this Directive,
KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for
the proper disposal of this unit.
Mantenimiento
Verificación de funcionamiento:
• Lleve a cabo un control de funcionamiento
según el Manual de instrucciones (véase el
capítulo 7.3.12 del Manual de instrucciones de
la IMAGE1 S™ CCU n.° 96206286 D).
• Los controles técnicos de seguridad han
de registrarse en el libro del aparato y los

9. 2 Reparaciones
Los equipos averiados solo deberán ser reparados
por KARL STORZ o por personas autorizadas por
KARL STORZ y utilizando únicamente piezas de
repuesto originales de KARL STORZ.
ADVERTENCIA: No abra el instrumento

ni el objetivo. La apertura de las
unidades selladas puede menoscabar
la estanqueidad y anula toda garantía.
Únicamente el personal autorizado puede
retirar las cubiertas en el procesador de
imágenes.
9. 3 Gestión de desechos
Este equipo está identificado conforme a la
directiva europea sobre residuos de aparatos
eléctricos y electrónicos (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment – WEEE).
Después de concluida su vida útil, deseche el
equipo como residuo electrónico.
Para ello, consulte a KARL STORZ GmbH &
Co. KG, a una sociedad distribuidora de
KARL STORZ o a su comercio especializado
para averiguar el centro de recogida que le
corresponde. En el área de validez de la directiva,
KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG es responsable de
la correcta gestión residual del aparato.
