Replacing the phase encoder B20

!
The mount for the phase encoder (B20) is only
to be unfastened if the phase encoder has to be
replaced or re-adjusted. Unfastening the mount
alters the CAMBox reference value and necessitates
recalibration of the CAMBox reference value (refer to
Section 9).
6.2.1

Disassembling the phase encoder

Risk of injury, risk of crushing
The CAMBox weighs 48 kg and could thus
cause serious injury during transportation.
Always use a crane and hoist to transport
the CAMBox.
Wear protective gloves.
Wear protective boots.
Procedure:
1. Position the CAMBox firmly on a sturdy table.
2. Remove the cover (Item 1).
3. Detach the connecting cable (Item 2) from the phase
encoder B20.

4. Remove the hexagon socket head bolt (Item 3).
5. Slacken off the two hexagon socket head bolts
(Item 4). Do not remove the two hexagon socket
head bolts.

6. Pull the phase encoder B20 out of the mount.
