8) Run the auger system EMPTY before loading grain into the tank for actual use. Make certain that the slip clutch is operating
and that the upper and lower augers are properly engaged.
9) To lower the auger from field position to storage position, while the auger is extended, push the Flip Up Auger - Throw Handle
from "Field Position" to "Storage Position". After the handle has been moved, completely fold the auger into storage position.
10) The maximum continuous noise is 88 dB (A).
11) Any removable guards have to be put back after cleaning or maintenance.
12) Machine is to be operated and maintained only by trained personnel.
13) Follow lock out/tag out procedure implemented in the end user's facility.
14) Machine must not be used in residential area.

KEY REMOVED TO PREVENT OPERATION OF TRACTOR AND CART
Repack the bearings in the hub assembly once a year or as needed. Use a good quality LS EP2 Severe Duty, High
Shock Load, Lithium based Grease. Also check the seal for wear and replace if necessary.
Check the grain cart periodically for cracks in welds and for other structural damage. Have cracked welds fixed
immediately. Failure to do so could result in extensive damage to the grain cart and greatly reduce the life of the cart.
Have all loose bolts torqued to correct torque value listed in the "Bolt Torque Chart" on page 14.
Run all functions of the hydraulic cylinders and inspect hoses, fittings, and seals for leakage. Replace any damaged
hoses, fittings, or seals. For replacement parts, see "Hydraulic Hoses and Cylinders" on page 40.
Lubricate the slides on the clean-out door.
Make sure all tires are properly inflated. See "Initial Operation and Maintenance" on page 22 for recommended
instructions for tire pressure. It is important that tires are inspected before and after unit loaded.
Check PTO for wear of plates in the slip clutch. Replace if needed.
Check all air brake lines for wear and replace as necessary.
Make sure that all guards and shields are in place before operating the grain cart.
