The terminal strip is not intended to generally provide a 24 V DC supply (for example for
supplying additional components on the plant or system side), as the voltage supply of the
Control Interface Module could also be overloaded and the correct functioning could thus be
compromised.

X46 Brake control and monitoring

Note
The interface is intended for connection of the Safe Brake Adapter.
Fire hazard due to overheating when permissible connection cable lengths are exceeded
Excessively long connection cables on terminal strip X46 can cause components to
overheat with the associated risk of fire and smoke.
• Limit the length of the connecting cables to a maximum of 10 m.
• The connection cable must not be led out the control cabinet or control cabinet group.
