Appendix A. Records

Whenever you add options to your storage expansion enclosure, be sure to update
the information in this appendix. Accurate, up-to-date records make it easier to add
other options and provide needed data whenever you contact technical support.

Identification numbers

Record and retain the following information.
The storage expansion enclosure serial number is located on the bottom inside
surface on the rear and on the bottom right on the front.

Installed device records

Use the following table to record the number of the hard disk drives that you
replaced and the corresponding bay number.
