Steps
1
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.

Open the latch and disconnect the CAC reader cable from the system board.

Open the latch and disconnect the power button board cable from the system board.

Disconnect the VGA daughterboard cable from the system board.

Peel the tape, open the latch, and disconnect the display cable from the system board
6
Open the latch and disconnect the I/O board cable from the system board.
7
Open the latch and disconnect the touch pad cable from the system board.
8
Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.
9
Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable from the system board.
10
Remove the three (M2.5x5) screws that secure the right hinge to the system board, and palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

Lift the right hinge from the system board, and palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
12
Open the latch and disconnect the power adapter cable from the system board.
13
Remove the five screws (three M2x3 and two M2x2) that secures the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
14
Loosen the captive screw (M2x3) that is marked as 6 on the heat sink.
15
Lift the system board with the heat sink off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
