Installing and removing system components

Cooling shroud

The cooling shroud has aerodynamically placed openings that direct the airflow across the entire
system. The airflow passes through all the critical parts of the system, where the vacuum pulls air
across the entire surface area of the heat sink, thus allowing increased cooling.

Removing the cooling shroud

Before you begin
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
Procedure
1. Holding the touch points, lift the cooling shroud away from the system.
