You cannot open the

Possible cause and remedy
You have selected the
The  sensor does not respond when the oven is
switched off.
 As soon as the oven is switched on, the sensors
will respond. If you want the sensors to respond
even when the oven is switched off, select the

The oven is not connected to the electricity supply.
 Make sure that the plug is correctly inserted in the
socket and that the socket is switched on.
 Check if the circuit breaker has tripped. Contact a
qualified electrician or Miele.
 If you need to open the door, for instance because
there is still food in the oven compartment, use the
opener supplied to prise the door open. To do so,
push the opener at an angle into the gap on the
outside edge of the door at the top between the
control panel and the door. You can also pull the
door open by grasping the sides of the door with
both hands and pulling carefully until it opens.
The pyrolytic cleaning programme has started.

Risk of injury caused by hot surfaces.
During pyrolytic cleaning, the door will remain
locked until the temperature inside the oven
compartment has dropped to below 280 °C.
Do not attempt to prise open the door with the
opener as described above!
 Wait until the oven has cooled down. The door will
unlock itself automatically as soon as the
temperature inside the oven has dropped below
280 °C.
