Set up the 404B Infrared Phototach

4.1 Adjust the magnetic mount
A magnetic mount is provided with the 404B Infrared Phototach. The mount
can be adjusted to pivot in a wide range of angles and can be tightened to the
desired angle using the knob on the mount, as shown below.

4.2 Position the 404B Infrared Phototach to detect a pulse
Use the reflective tape provided as your fixed reference to be able to start
collecting data from rotating equipment. Proper operation of the 404B
Infrared Phototach requires it to be mounted securely and properly aligned.
There is a red light on the back of the 404B Infrared Phototach that indicates
