1.2 Overview
This document describes the basic connections and set up for the 404B
Infrared Phototach. Refer to the AMS 2140 Machinery Health Analyzer User
Guide for detailed instructions for data collection.
1.3 Clean the product
To clean the exterior of the phototach or battery pack, use only a dry, lint-
free towel or cloth dampened with a mild soap and water solution. Do not
use any abrasive or corrosive chemicals or materials, or any petroleum
distillates and ketone solvents (for example, acetone, gasoline and
kerosene).
