    The 404B Infrared Phototach is intended to be used with an AMS 2140 Machinery Health Analyzer, with or without an optional 408 battery pack. The 404B Infrared Phototach can be powered directly from an AMS 2140 Machinery Health Analyzer with the cable provided in the package.

Refer to the AMS 2140 Machinery Health Analyzer User Guide for detailed instructions for data collection. Clean the product To clean the exterior of the phototach or battery pack, use only a dry, lint- free towel or cloth dampened with a mild soap and water solution.

Connect the smaller end of the power charger cable to the connector labeled CHARGER on the 408 battery pack. Note The power charger may not insert completely into the 408 battery pack.
