The Telephone Switch Interface Matrix is a detailed list of all the
relevant telephony components that have been tested and are known
to work with SpectraLink Wireless Telephones. Only those
configurations listed here are supported by Polycom customer service
personnel.
Four separate tables are provided:
Polycom
SpectraLink Release 3.0 Approved Call Servers and
®
WLAN Infrastructure
This table lists the vendors that carry switches that are compatible
with the 3.0 release. Several vendors also carry the SpectraLink
Wireless Telephone under their own brand and these are also listed.
Also listed on this table are the Access points (APs) that have been
tested and meet the requirements of the Polycom VIEW (Voice
Interoperability for Enterprise Wireless) certification program.
SIP Telephony Interfaces
SIP switches must have been tested with the SpectraLink Wireless
Telephones in order to qualify for a position on this table. I fyou
already have a SIP switch, find it on this table and then determine
what software version is required. The Wireless Telephone Product
numbers are not interchangeable. If you desire a different model
number then you must select a switch that supports that exact model.
IP Telephony Interfaces
Several manufacturers have IP switches that support SpectraLink
wireless telephony. Most of these also carry SpectraLink Wireless
Telephones under their own brand. The vendor, the switch name, the
switch software and the wireless telephone model names and
numbers are called out so that you have exact information about
supported configuration by switch.
Digital Switch Interfaces
Digital switch configurations are listed for each model of SpectraLink
Wireless Telephone. These systems are independent of computer
networks, but still have exact configuration requirements.
