Lesson 4 – Defining the Signal Routing

The Routing Setup Tool
The window contains several sets of buttons for tool operation and
a display area to show the routing commands that already exist in
the currently selected routing set.
Routing Set Handling
Lets you select the routing set you want to edit, and allows you to
copy and delete sets.
All routing sets (up to 256) are stored in one routing setup file.
This file can be loaded with the data manager, like all other setup
files.
In one routing set, you must make the routing definitions for all
analog modules to be used during one test.
The routing sets are independent from the analog sets you create with
the Analog Setup Tool. This allows you to freely combine any routing
set with any analog set in one test.
Saving the Routing Setup File
With the Save Setup File button, you can save the routing setup
file. The file can also be saved with the Data Manager. The routing
setup file gets stored in the routing sub-directory of the device
