NOTICE
oil level verification within 10
seconds after engine stop. En-
gine oil is discharging quickly
from oil tank into engine after
engine stop which may result
in improper oil level reading.
3.1 Unscrew the dipstick to re-
move it and wipe clean.
3.2 Insert the dipstick into the filler
tube and tighten it

Step 1: Insert dipstick
Step 2: Tighten dipstick.
3.3 Remove the dipstick again and
check oil level. It should be be-
tween MIN and MAX marks.

1. Reinstall the dipstick and tighten it
properly.
2. Wipe off any spillage.
3. Close the RH side service cover.

Perform the engine
NOTICE
An engine oil level above
the MAX mark can lead to severe en-
gine damage.
Oil Level Below MIN Mark
1. Place a funnel into the filler tube and
add 500 ml (17 U.S. oz) of recom-
mended engine oil.
NOTE: The oil quantity between MIN
and MAX marks is 500 ml (17 U.S. oz).
2. Restart the engine to bring it to its
normal operating temperature and
let idling for at least 60 seconds.
NOTICE
Adjusting the oil level
with an engine not at the operating
temperature will result in overfilling.
3. Stop engine and immediately per-
form following steps.

3.2 Insert the dipstick into the filler
tube and tighten it.
3.3 Remove the dipstick again and
check oil level. It should be be-
tween MIN and MAX marks.
4. Repeat above steps until oil level is
between the MIN and MAX marks.
NOTICE
Do not overfill.
5. Reinstall the dipstick and tighten it
properly.
6. Wipe off any spillage.
7. Close the RH side service cover.
