Control Temperature Alarms

Purpose:
The settings for the following alarms can be configured using the lower half of the Control Temp page as
shown above.
Options:
• High Temp
• Low Temp
• Failure
Procedure:
Touch the appropriate Enable check box to turn on/off the corresponding Alarm indication or touch the
corresponding Latch check box to configure a latching or a non-latching type of alarm. When the latch-
ing is selected, the alarm will need to be manually reset each time the corresponding alarm occurs.

Touching the text box next to Setpoint or Filter will display the numeric entry keypad. Enter the desired
value using the numeric keypad and touch the
button to set the new value.

Filter: When the temperature exceeds the High Temperature Setpoint or drops below the Low
Temperature Setpoint, the unit only triggers an alarm if the corresponding High/Low alarm condition has
been present for the filter period. If immediate alarm output is required for an alarm condition, then the
corresponding filter value should be set to 0.
