The controller will notify the user if any part (user, maintenance, profile 1, profile 2, factory) of the settings
are lost. If factory settings are lost, the unit must be replaced. As a precautionary measure, the loss of
either the factory or user data will prevent the device from turning on the heat trace.
The Low Storage Capacity alarm indicates that this memory is nearing its end of life, so plans should be
made to replace the controller.
Graphical User Interface (GUI)
The Elexant 4010i/4020i has an integrated resistive touch screen to provide
accessible and intuitive interaction with the controller. The GUI can be set to display its text in five
languages (English, French, German, Spanish, and Russian). The controller can be configured and
monitored using the GUI. See Section 5.1 for more details.

The front panel of the Elexant 4010i/4020i Heat Trace Controller has 4 LED indicators to indicate conditions.

GUI Screen Saver Mode
The Elexant 4010i/4020i controller has a built-in screen saver feature that automatically turns on every
hour after the device is powered up. When the screen saver is activated, the idle screen shows an alter-
nate version of the display for 1 minute in which it flips the state of every pixel on the screen.
