Automatic restart after instantaneous
power failure/flying start under IPM
motor control
Pr.57 Restart coasting time
Pr.162 Automatic restart after instantaneous power failure selection
Pr.611 Acceleration time at a restart
The inverter can be restarted without stopping the IPM motor in
the following cases:
 When power comes back ON during inverter driving after an
instantaneous power failure
 When the motor is coasting at start
For V/F control and General-purpose magnetic flux vector control,
refer to the previous page.

Automatic restart operation selection (Pr.162)
The inverter smoothly starts after detecting the motor speed
(frequency search) upon power restoration.
During reverse rotation, the inverter can be restarted smoothly as
the direction of rotation is detected.

Description
No waiting time
Set the waiting time for inverter-triggered
restart after an instantaneous power
failure.
No restart

Set the acceleration time that takes to
reach Pr.20 Acceleration/deceleration
reference frequency setting at a restart.
Acceleration time for restart is the normal
acceleration time (e.g. Pr. 7).

Remote setting function
Pr.59 Remote function selection
Even if the operation panel is located away from the enclosure, you
can use contact signals to perform continuous variable-speed
operation, without using analog signals.
By merely setting this parameter, you can use the acceleration,
deceleration and setting clear functions of the remote speed setter
(FR-FK).

Energy saving control selection
Pr.60 Energy saving control selection
Without a fine parameter setting, the inverter automatically
performs energy saving operation.
This operation is optimum for fan and pump applications.

Optimum excitation control mode
The Optimum excitation control mode is a control

system which controls excitation current to improve
the motor efficiency to maximum and determines
output voltage as an energy saving method. 
 Since output voltage is controlled, output current may slightly increase.
