Add Monroe R189 EAS (Emergency Alert System)

1. Set up the Monroe R189 to output a multicast stream (refer to Monroe R189 documentation)
2. Specify a data port for content (CHAPTER 8 SPECIFY DATA PORT—CONTENT/CONTROL INTERFACE)
3. Go to the Services page
4. On the left-hand side of the screen, click the Add EAS Input button
5. Enter in the Multicast Address specified in the Monroe R189
6. Enter in the port specified in the Monroe R189
7. Enter in a name and description
8. Click Apply on the left-hand side of the screen

Part-Time HD Alternate Display (RSN)

This should only be used with a part-time content channel. During the time when no content is available, the
system will stream an informational slate, providing an alternate channel.
Slate Text will read "Service Not Available Change to Alternate Channel X" (Where X is the channel identified in
setup)
1. When configuring a service on the Services page, there is a field, RSN
2. Type in the alternate channel number in the RSN box
3. Click Apply in the actions area
Once configured, it will take approximately 5 minutes to generate and display the slate.
