Use a 3/16 inch screwdriver and loosen the transducer cover screws enough to remove
the cover and gasket.
Loosen the cord grip nut and if necessary, use a 7/16 inch wrench to hold the hex nut in
place while turning the cord grip nut.
Disconnect the transducer cable wires from the terminal block.
Pull the cable wires out of the transducer.
Set aside the nut and grommet you received with the replacement transducer
assembly.
Insert the transducer cable into the replacement transducer.
Apply a light coat of Loctite® anti-seize nickel grade lubricant (20g stick-37230) on the
transducer cover screw threads.
Ensure the threads are properly aligned (avoid cross-threading the transducer cover).
