[Auto Slow Shutter]: The camcorder automatically uses slow shutter speeds to obtain brighter recordings in
places with insufficient lighting.
• Fastest shutter speed used: 1/25; 1/12 when the frame rate is set to 25.00P.
• When you are recording moving subjects, if a trailing afterimage appears, set the slow shutter to [j Off].
• This function is available when the shooting mode is set to ' or N.
• This function cannot be used when [
[ND Filter]: Turning this function on activates the ND filter so that the amount of light is reduced 3 stops (1/8 of the
light).
• When an ND filter onscreen display flashes on the screen, it indicates the following.
[ND]: The picture is overexposed. Set the ND filter to [i On].
[ND CLR]: The picture is underexposed. Set the ND filter to [j Off].
[Flicker Reduction]: When set to [k Automatic], flicker reduction will automatically detect and reduce flicker.
• When recording under light sources such as fluorescent, mercury or halogen lamps, the screen may flicker
depending on the shutter speed. You may be able to avoid flicker by setting the shutter speed mode to a value
matching the frequency of the local electrical system: 1/25, 1/50 or 1/100 for 50 Hz systems; 1/30, 1/60 or
1/120 for 60 Hz systems.
[Shockless WB]: Creates a softer transition when the white balance is changed.
[Focus Ring Direction]: Changes the direction the focus ring needs to be turned.
[Focus Ring Response]: Selects the sensitivity of the response when operating the focus ring.
[AF Speed]: Selects the speed at which the focus is adjusted during autofocus.
[ISO/Gain]: Selects whether you can adjust settings related to ISO speed or gain.
[Gain Increment]: Selects the increment when adjusting the gain.
[Rolling Shutter Reduction]: Reduces rolling shutter distortion in your recordings.
• This function is available only when the resolution is set to 4K.
• When this function is set to [i On
- When recording starts, HDMI output will stop.
- Photos cannot be taken while recording a clip.
- [v Camera Setup] > [1] > [Face Detection & Tracking] and [Flicker Reduction] will not be available.
