The PLEX® Elite 9000 includes a 24TB NAS device for storing exam
data.
If additional storage becomes necessary, you can add another
external NAS or a dedicated computer with a large data storage
capacity to store more data.

11.4.1 NAS Device Requirements

An additional external NAS (or other data storage device) must
meet the following minimum requirements:
• Server class 800 MHz processor
• 8 TB storage
• Any current operating system that supports NTFS drive
partition(s) for PLEX® Elite 9000 data. PLEX® Elite 9000 data is
compatible only with NTFS on network drives.
In addition, we recommend the following:
• A RAID array for data storage to provide data redundancy in
the event of a drive failure—strongly recommended
• An uninterruptible power supply (UPS)—strongly recom-
mended
• 1000 BaseT network connection
• 24 TB of offsite secure (cloud) data storage
