Remove and discard the old fan filter.

Install the new fan filter in the fan cover. Align the notch in the

filter with the notch in the fan cover.
Carefully install the fan cover with new filter over the fan.

Install the 2 screws onto the fan cover and fan.

13.3 Performance Verification Check
Performance Verification allows you to verify that any given fundus
image and its OCT scan image overlay shown on PLEX® Elite 9000
instrument are aligned within the specifications defined by the
target inside the Verification Test Tool. Practically, this means the
scan actually is placed where it appears to be placed, based on the
fundus image.
13.3.1 Installing the Verification Test Tool
If the Performance Verification Check fails
data acquired since the last successful check may not be reliable.
Carry out the Check again.

Contact your ZEISS representative.

Damage to the Verification Test Tool
can affect test results.
Do not drop the tool.

Handle the tool carefully.

Do not use the tool for testing if it has been dropped or for any
u
reason you suspect it is broken. Immediately contact ZEISS
customer service. In the U.S., call 800–341–6968. Outside the
U.S., contact your local Zeiss distributor.
1. Install the Verification Test Tool. Make sure that the tool is
installed in the correct orientation. The tool has short pegs at
the upper left and lower right, and thumbscrews at the upper
right and lower left. Each of these corresponds to a hole on the
face of the ocular lens housing.
