When grounding the subrack, connect the ground bolt on the subrack to the ground point on the column inside
the cabinet. The subrack then is connected to the external ground bar through the PGND cable on the top of the
cabinet.

CAUTION
When installing the power cables,
you can connect the power cable
connectors to the PIU board in the
subrack only after replacing the
existing power cables for the
subrack in the cabinet with the
power cables delivered with the
subrack, as shown in the following
figure.
